It is important to decide where you will add value to your product in your product sampling, commercial sample cards have historically been at the higher volume more budget end of the spectrum where as interior design marketing presentations and sales tools have demanded a higher quality product to stand out from their competitors. There are some advantages over litho in book cloth and aswell as the luxurious feel there is an improvement in the flexibility and durability, certainly we find this in box making where we may produce a sample box with magnetic close which could house carpet sample cards, yarn sample cards, fabric swatches & product brochures. The lid may need to flip back on itself and even laminated paper just seem to have the durability for this purpose. Also if the sampling presentation is carrying some weight then the book cloth does certainly win on the durability front. Although there is certainly an increased cost that you pay for this premium material although for premium products that require durability it is certainly justifiable.
