Viewing product sampling at the Surface Design Show in Islington London is always in our calendar to see the direction where new interior and exterior surfaces are travelling for the future.
Following a surprisingly quiet tube journey we were greeted with a lovely green ginger smoothie outside the tube station before the short walk down the road to the exhibition center. On arrival it seemed a relatively small exhibition but the tardis like building was a welcome change to some of the cavernous exhibition centers that we visit whilst visiting clients and researching sample cards, pattern books other product sampling and marketing presentations.
Along with some of the bigger hitters there was an encouraging amount of smaller companies showcasing interesting specialist construction surface products that we enjoyed discussing their products and the marketing material they use.
Although we generally speciailse in larger volume product sampling and marketing presentations for surfaces it is always interesting to develop solutions to lower volume projects where often adding value to the product is a major priority.
